Growing up in Kewanee, Illinois Trevor spent most of his time playing sports and in the outdoors. He developed a passion for hunting and fishing at an early age that has only continued to grow over the years.

In high school, Trevor was involved in many sports and clubs throughout the school. Competing in football, basketball, baseball, and running cross country, while also being a member of the FFA organization and having the opportunity to compete in Trap and Archery shooting competitions across the state.

Upon graduation Trevor decided to attend Carl Sandburg Community College in Galesburg, IL to play basketball. The basketball coach also happened to be the golf coach for the school. The men’s golf team needed an additional player for the season and while Trevor never played golf in high school it was something he always wanted to do. This decision ultimately led to Trevor playing both golf and basketball at Carl Sandburg.

Trevor developed a passion for the game of golf and ended up receiving a scholarship to play for Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. During his time in Nashville, Trevor competed at the NCAA D2 level for men’s golf, helped start and organize the first school bass fishing team at the University, and helped manage properties for whitetail deer and turkey hunting for Nashville Hunt Club.

The relationships built during his time in Nashville led to an opportunity in Northwest Ohio at Tiffin University after graduation. Accepting a position as a graduate assistant men’s and women’s golf coach which included working full time coaching and going back to school to earn his MBA. After eventually graduating from Tiffin University Trevor then moved back to Kewanee, IL.

Back in Kewanee Trevor stayed in the golf industry and managed Midland Golf Club outside of town. Having recently made the decision to exit the golf business Trevor is looking forward to pursuing a career involving the outdoors. During his free time Trevor enjoys spending time with friends and family, hunting and fishing, and competing in golf events.
